Mental Healthcare for Adults
You may be keeping up with work, caring for others, and handling daily responsibilities while feeling overwhelmed or unlike yourself. You deserve time to understand what is happening and discuss support that fits your needs.
Roots & Wings Mental Health offers telehealth psychiatric evaluations and medication management when clinically appropriate for adults in Alaska, Iowa, Kansas, Nevada, and Oregon.
Start With What Matters to You
You can bring concerns about mood, anxiety, attention, sleep, or changes in how you are functioning. You may be seeking care for the first time or looking to revisit an existing treatment plan.
You do not need a polished explanation or a diagnosis before scheduling. We begin with your concerns, your experiences, and what you would like help with.
Looking at the Whole Picture
Your evaluation includes a discussion of current concerns, relevant medical and mental health history, medications, previous treatment, and the impact on your daily life. We also consider your strengths, responsibilities, and goals.
Together, we discuss the assessment and recommended next steps. You are encouraged to ask questions and share what has or has not worked for you in the past.
Collaborative Medication Management
Medication may be one part of a treatment plan when clinically appropriate. We discuss the purpose of recommendations, available options, potential benefits, possible side effects, and follow-up needs.
Follow-up appointments focus on how you are doing in everyday life. We review changes, ongoing difficulties, and concerns so treatment decisions reflect your experience. Care may also include education, supportive strategies, and referrals.
Private Care With Convenient Access
Meet through secure telehealth from a private space where you can speak comfortably. You must be physically located in Alaska, Iowa, Kansas, Nevada, or Oregon during your appointment.
We are a self-pay practice. Fees are explained before care begins. Reduced fee options available. See our Frequently Asked Questions page for details.
Make Room for Your Own Care
Taking the next step can begin with learning what to expect. Visit our New Patients page for appointment and intake information, or contact the practice with general questions.
Telehealth appointments are not an emergency service. If you are in immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
